Northminster United embraces the diverse ways that all people of all ages experience worship – whether sitting quietly, moving around, asking questions, or wondering aloud.
Come as you are. There is no dress code. Some like to be casual and comfortable. Others prefer to dress up a bit.
Parking is available in the small lot on the north side of our building, in the back alley, and there is street parking on both Centre Street and on 32nd Avenue.
Entrances are located on Centre Street (also with a ramp and handicap parking) and on 32nd Avenue.
Our worship is about 1 hour in length. It offers opportunity for movement, quiet reflection, a short sermon, a story, an offering, and music. The prayers and words to the songs are projected onto a screen once worship begins.  A printed order of service is also available and this contains announcements about upcoming events and how you can be in touch with our staff.
Children and youth sit with their families for the first portion of the service and are then invited to attend their own kidZone program. For children ages 3 to grade 3, the Bible comes alive - exploring stories through crafts, drama, fun experiments, cooking, games and more!  Our youth (grade 7 to 12) meet in their own newly renovated space for their program. Ask a kidZone leader about a registration form.
For wee ones…Northminster has a nursery with toys and a comfortable rocker at the back of the sanctuary for parents to use at any time. A change table is located in the nursery and in the women’s washroom downstairs. For breastfeeding moms…feed your babies where you are comfortable…in your pew, in the nursery…it’s up to you.
Washrooms are located on the 3rd floor and downstairs near the gym.
After worship, everyone is invited to stay for complementary coffee, juice, and cookies in the gym – pull up a chair, or mingle, and visit with other folks who were at worship.
Our building is equipped with an elevator.
See you this Sunday!
