In our worship this Sunday we continue our journey through the season of Easter, and reflect on our yearning for the kingdom of God drawing near “on earth as it is in heaven” as Jesus taught us to pray. We live each day between the already and the not yet, and we seek to refine our vision of God’s transformation for us and for the world…a vision of new community, a new heaven and a new earth. Jesus tells his followers that we must love one another as he has loved us, where we are. In our mission as a church, we live simultaneously in two realms, committed to love others here and now, but attuned to the future breaking in among us now.
